A small repair may be completed quickly, while structural damage, parts delays, or additional approvals can extend the timeline. Our team will give you an estimated timeline and update you if anything changes.

B&D can assist with the ICBC side of the repair, including estimates, documentation, supplements, and communication during the repair process. Our goal is to make the process as clear and simple as possible.

OEM stands for Original Equipment Manufacturer. An OEM-certified collision repair facility has met manufacturer requirements for training, equipment, tools, and repair procedures. This matters because modern vehicles often use high-strength steel, aluminum, sensors, cameras, airbags, and driver-assistance systems. A proper repair is not just about appearance. It can affect safety, structure, and long-term performance.

Our lifetime workmanship guarantee covers the quality of the repair workmanship performed by B&D for as long as you own the vehicle. It does not cover unrelated damage, new accidents, wear and tear, or manufacturer part defects.

Yes. We provide private-pay auto body repairs for customers who do not want to go through insurance or who have minor cosmetic damage, resale preparation, lease-return concerns, or personal vehicle projects. We can assess the damage and help you decide whether a private repair or insurance claim makes more sense.

Repair costs can vary because different shops may quote different repair methods, parts, procedures, refinish operations, calibration requirements, and labour steps. The cheapest estimate is not always the best repair plan. Modern vehicles may require manufacturer procedures, safety inspections, scans, calibrations, and specific materials to repair the vehicle correctly.

Make sure everyone is safe. If there are injuries, call 911. If the vehicles are drivable and the collision is minor, move them out of traffic. Exchange information with the other driver including name, contact information, insurance, and licence plate. Take photos of the damage, the scene, and any relevant details. Contact ICBC to report the claim. Then contact B&D to begin the repair process.

Yes. Courtesy vehicles are available for qualifying repairs. Ask our team when you drop off your vehicle and we can confirm availability and any applicable conditions.

Yes. When a repair or windshield replacement affects cameras, sensors, or driver-assistance systems, ADAS calibration may be required. We perform ADAS calibration when required as part of the repair process.

Yes. We repair electric and hybrid vehicles from the brands we are certified for. Modern EV and hybrid repairs require specific training, tools, and procedures. Our team is trained to handle these vehicles as part of our OEM certification programs.

We follow manufacturer repair procedures and use parts that meet the requirements of the repair and the insurance program involved. For OEM-certified repairs, we use parts that meet manufacturer standards. ICBC has its own parts approval process, which we work within.
